Why did my sealer fail & what are we going to do about it?

Sealer usually fails due to improper application and or moisture being trapped under the sealer.  Some companies like to rush through a job to maximize profits and get a job all done in one day, we know better then this!  We wait until all areas are dry and will not have moisture trapped under the sealer.

On the other end of the spectrum is the DIY materials that box stores sell to clients who want to "save a buck" and do it themselves.  This 95% of the time leads to improper application and sealer failure in 6 months or less.  So now you may be asking, well how are we going to help in this situation?

We use the highest grade paver sealer stripper along with high powered industrial machines to strip off any and all old sealer that is failing off on your pavers, leaving us with a clean slate to start from scratch with and reseal to its natural beauty yet again.

Our Sealer Removal Process

Our Sealer removal process starts with using a high quality paver stripper.  We apply this using an electric sprayer ensuring all areas are sprayed with the solution.  Once this has set up we begin the failed paver sealer removal by using our hot water pressure washer to eat away at the failed sealer.  Once dry we reinspect all areas to ensure that all of the old failed sealer has been removed during this process

We proudly provide professional paver sealing and pressure washing services throughout Viera, Melbourne, Rockledge, and surrounding Brevard County areas.

Frequently Asked Questions About Failed Paver Sealer Removal

Q: What does failed paver sealer look like?
A: Failed paver sealer often appears cloudy, white, blotchy, peeling, or sticky. These issues are common in Florida due to moisture and improper application.  The correct method when paver sealing is done negates this issue.

Q: Can you seal over failed paver sealer?
A: No. Sealing over failed sealer will trap moisture and make the problem worse. Professional removal is required before resealing.

Q: How is failed paver sealer removed?
A: Failed sealer is removed using professional stripping solutions and controlled pressure washing. This process restores the surface so pavers can be properly resealed.

Q: Does failed sealer removal damage pavers?
A: When done by professionals using the correct methods, failed sealer removal is safe and does not damage pavers. Improper DIY removal is where damage usually occurs and will also reduce colors and make it so you need to do color restoration.
